Everlan Diaries Resident Spotlight: Audrey Goss

Everlan Diaries Resident Spotlight: Audrey Goss

Audrey Goss was born in Canada 96 years ago. She lived there until 1973, when she and her husband, Stan, moved to New Jersey. Stan worked for an oil company, so they were able to take an early retirement, and they moved to Beaufort, South Carolina, where they enjoyed 30 more years together. After the passing of her husband, Audrey moved to Greenville, Tennessee to be closer to her son, Bradley, his wife and three grandchildren. Her son’s family maintain an alpaca farm and she enjoyed two years there before she decided to move to Everlan of Johnson City in 2020, where she is a charter member.

Audrey adores golfing, having served as a golf course rater for the United States Golf Association in South Carolina and New Jersey. She is also very accomplished as a player, having scored 75 at the matching age of 75. Audrey was also actively and consistently involved with volunteer work whenever possible.

At Everlan of Johnson City, Audrey plays bridge, actively visits local golf courses, watches golf channels on TV and has consistent friend gatherings at the coffee bar or around the fireplace.
